FAQ
Where is my Google Drive backup?
Your backup is stored in the hidden application data folder of the Google Drive account used for backup. It does not appear in My Drive, and you cannot open or move its files in the Drive interface. It uses that account's storage space.
To check whether the app has stored data:
- On a computer, open Google Drive with the account used for backup.
- Open Settings (gear icon) → Settings.
- Choose Manage apps and find this app. If hidden app data exists, its storage usage may appear there.
A storage amount only shows that some app data exists. It does not prove that your most recent backup completed successfully.
Do not choose “Delete hidden app data” if you still need your backup.

How do I move my data to another device?
- On the old device, open Settings → Data backup and restore → Backup.
- Wait for the backup to finish.
- Install the app on the new device and sign in with the same account used on the old device.
- On the new device, open Settings → Data backup and restore → Restore.
- After restoration finishes, check that your entries are present.
Keep the data on your old device until you have checked the restored entries.
